Our history.

From our establishment in 1983 within the multinational group ABB, Capacent has developed to become a leading Nordic-based, full-service management consulting firm. Our journey has involved re-branding twice and acquisitions of several other consulting companies as part of our growth.

 
 

  • 1990-2000 ABB Financial Consulting grows from its Swedish origin

     

  • 2002 MBO of ABB Financial Consulting, name change to Capto Financial Conulting

     

  • 2002 Capto opens new office in Oslo, Norway

     

  • 2003 Capto merges with N&G Financial Management

     

  • 2004 Swedish staff of Business Logic join Capto

     

  • 2005 Capto expands into Finland by opening a new office in Helsinki

     

  • 2006 Establish becomes a part of United Logistics Group

     

  • 2008 Capto opens office in Denmark

     

  • 2009 Arrigo, FIND Company and Establish changes name to UnitedLog Consulting

     

  • 2009 Capto Financial Consulting changes name to Capacent

     

  • 2009 Capacent acquires KW partners

     

  • 2010 Capacent expands to Gothenburg

     

  • 2011 Capacent and UnitedLog Consulting join forces

     

  • 2012 Capacent introduces new marketing profile: management consulting – the Nordic Way
